new C2 album has been road trip reference tested and sweet jeebus the sub frequencies! will probably leak a single or two throughout the next months but most excited that C2 will present PENTALOGY as a multimedia theatre production live show with vocalists, dancers, actors and your mum! No literally, bring your mum. Fuck yeah. Working on story boards for video collatoral. now how many sub cabinets can we smash into 100m²…
my dudes, please remember, this Facebook thing isn’t an incident nor a scandal, it IS the modus operandi of corporate social media. Next step, please ditch the Google evreything while you are ditching FB. (search, gmail, dropbox, instagram, whatsapp, also telegram as they are currently giving server keys to govts to enjoy your messages). Stop being the product. Still dont have a video alternative as youtube and vimeo are both heinous. Watching peertube with interest…
It’s 2018 so I’d like to map out some releases for the year. This month another EP from our house collective SP UNITED will drop. The keebler elves are busy cobbling a name for it. It is throwback as fuck using heaps of sounds from our live PA sessions 20 years ago when SP jammed on archaic web radio. It’s a lot lighter hearted than revive the tribe.
C2 Pentalogy is a 10 track mother funkin BEAST. All the vocals from Psychodrama are amazing and approaching brutal. This is all in final mixdown. Will start posting some teasers and trailers in March. I don’t feel like I can ever top QUADRANTS emotionally, but there are some cinematic as fuck moments in the new stuff. And some straight banging powernoise dirty house that will smoke the live PA.
Another SP EP will follow mid year.
As since I stole a bunch of material and made it C2, poor neglected control.org will only have some singles or an EP later in the year.
and dj mindstalker rises again with a few new tracks that should be out after mid-year.
I’d like to be all artsy here but let me just say that the new C2 is kicking so hard imma wake up in another postal code and guest vocals are currently being worked on! Tease text and cryptic track titles linked at control.org
Testing some imagery while building the story page for the project. RESIST! Pie in the sky, Halloween 2017 release.
So to summarise, sorry not sorry but control.org ERADICATE got back burnered again and the new dj mindstalker got tabled to get the new SP UNITED EP out which was long time due and super healthy. Also, what’s your favourite Hilary Duff track?
Sometimes it is like an identity crisis bar brawl fighting the psychotic cacophony in my aging electro artist head. While working on new C2 (PENTALOGY), control.org (ERADICATE), dj mindstalker (untitled) I had a dream to revive the tribe from the old days when the org crew would get togther and make beats and dj. Through the glory of the interwebs I am super chuffed to anounce our output from this latest detour and the first of a few 2017 releases from the org umbrella.

We’re getting the band back together… revive the tribe.
SP UNITED are an house and electro collective made up of the classic live crew of control.org. Formed in 1998, they only output a few white label CDrs, time has come to fix that…
Soul doesn’t come from a specific beat, an instrument, a riff or a tempo, or even words, it is from the heart. To this end SP UNITED create sounds they want to dance to with a nod to the classic and an utter disinterest towards popular formulaic production. REVIVE THE TRIBE EP is emotive and strong, tech infused yet soulful, raw and organic with industrial edges but undeniably house. With deep and long running backgrounds in house, techno, industrial and electro music SP unites to explore the sounds and shapes of electro, tribal, soulful, Euro and Afro without fear. Introspective and a little dark, steady and moving, funky and a little uplifting, UNITE and come along for the journey. SP rhymes with unity.
Just wanted to record how much I love and appreciate my mates worldwide supporting my dirty for life audio shennanigans, lumpy at best release schedule, detours, diversions, avoidance of social web etc. In the past day you’ve supported a tech house release that I never even told you about and via good old classic phone and email you guys have really stoked the proverbial fire already under my bum with encouragement and excitement for more org and C2. Shit is healthy and I love that there is still someone out there to share my sonic therapy with. Gonna go hard while I’m still going. Fuck yeah!
I was very much into the first wave of rave as a young producer and a budding dj in the late 80s but it was always a complimentary side piece to my love of the industrial electro, and freestyle, and house, and your mum. I never bothered with the synthetic drugs. As such I am gleefully unashamed of the time period and a festive mix like this makes me happy thinking of long drives with my lady person rocking sweet mix tapes. Multiple decades on, I’m greatful we can still do that. Time is a relentless bastard, stay vertical out there.
been real busy gardening. One of the greatest acts of rebellion you can possibly exercise is not making a corporate album about your disillusionment with corporate albums and how your life sucks cause you dropped your iphone and ran out of the good weed, but instead grow some food, then eat it. You’ll probably have to vlog it because you are so addicted to digital grandstanding, but so is everyone else.
Also, I accidentally stopped working on C2 PENTALOGY and made a new dj mindstalker EP of mid 120s bpm electro house and dark techno. needs production work and some samples but I expect to slide it quietly onto the bandcamp around March.
rest in pieces old “friend”. I actually really hated this rig, but it allowed for 10 distinct triggers and the pvc tubes worked great for loop trigger while the pd-8’s handled more drum like duties. It survive the belly of planes in nothing more than a duffle bag and over almost 4 years of sporadic gigs, installations and other abuse. It only needed one small wire resoldered in one of the tube triggers. It was treated with utter disdain. Switched from an old Alesis DM and Akai Mpx to just an Alesis sample rack, which is built a little wimpy, but really works great for me. Anywho, my point is, in general no one cares about shows, but I got some killer workouts.
The new trigger rig build is almost completely flat and will actually need a bit of a weighted plate to affix it to an xstand or something. working on the wiring harnesses here and there, no rush, like I said, no big demand for live dance industrial just douchebags with weak “drops” and shitty horn loops from a $20,000, $50,000, ???,000 table of gear they can ghost knob.
the roland pads were from a trade, the wood, pc, foam were all scavenged and customised, and a few dollars in piezo discs, 2 dollar shop bungees? fuck you steve aoki, fuck you. -xxxooo C2
